Overview
My coworkers at Martino Flynn asked me to volunteer my time for the new RAF site they had been working on. They asked me to take care of the content management system, the dynamic content fetching, and database design for the site. I agreed and this project has become one of my proudest accomplishments. We have only completed Phase 1 of 3 and the best is yet to come!
My Role
I designed and developed a normalized database that would support the features I would be building for the site. Dynamic features I developed included an events section complete with calendar, RSS feeds, AJAX tabs, and a dynamic members section complete with registration form all in php. I also contributed some very cool Mootools features to help make the site more interactive and fun. This was all done in Phase 1. As the remaining phases are completed I will update this portfolio entry.
